It sure is noisy around here!

The renovations are coming along quickly and we are very excited. Check out our photo gallery to see our progress.


Construction started Monday January 9^th!

January 12^th-20^th: Demolition and construction was in full swing. We cleared out the old "Spiral Foods" side of the building to create room for our new foodshelf, loading dock, volunteer break-area, and staff offices.

January 23^rd-27^th: Sounds of jackhammers fill the air here at HFS...It's music to our ears! The concrete was thicker than expected, but we are going to have a brand new loading dock. Perfect for loading cars and increased efficiency with food orders.

January 30^th-February 3^rd: New windows are being installed on the "Spiral" side of the building and they are beautiful. The ramp for the loading dock is complete with cement and is going to be a fantastic addition to the food order process. And our donation reception area is coming together quite nicely!

February 6^th-10^th: Our ramp and loading dock are complete! We got a garage door with a window installed and everything is finally at street level. Much safer for our volunteers and clients when picking-up food orders and the first paint is going up on the walls...we can't wait for the finished product!

February 13^th-17^th: We've been getting the walls primed and painted in the warehouse and staff offices, as well getting tile down in a renovated bathroom. Lots of prep-work before we have some big installations next week (coolers, carpets, etc!)
