Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels program began at Regina Hospital in January of 1974 with home delivery of meals to six community residents.
Over 35 years later Regina hospital continues to prepare meals for approximately 94 individual seniors and people with disabilities.
The program makes a difference in the lives of many people. It is one of the key factors contributing to their ability to remain in their homes and maintain their independence.

Hastings Family Service coordinates the volunteer driving schedules for the community. In 2009, our volunteers delivered 12,165 meals to seniors and the home-bound. Thank You!
