Hastings Family Service provides services for person(s) who live within Independent School District 200, this area includes: The cities of: Hastings, Hampton, New Tier, Miesville and Vermillion and portions of these townships: Denmark, Douglas, Hampton, Marshan, Nininger, Ravenna and Vermillion Townships.
Provides groceries to people in need of emergency, short-term
assistance. In addition to a five-seven day supply of groceries, persons

Clean, seasonal, and carefully inspected used clothing and household items at no cost to those in need.
Meals On Wheels In partnership
with Regina Medical Center, this program provides hot meals and a safety
check for the elderly and people living with a disability.
Just Friends is a
volunteer program working to maintain the dignity and enhance the
quality of life for those with needs that are often outside their
physical capabilities because of illness, age, disability, or life
Holiday Assistance Holiday
Assistance provides: clothing, gifts, and groceries to those in need at
Christmas. HFS acts as a "clearing house" to organize many volunteer
efforts by local businesses, churches, schools, and organizations.
Confidentiality is assured for both donors and recipients.
Business Center Services
Use of phone, internet, fax, copy, and computer available for those that need it. Helpful for submitting job applications and printing necessary paperwork for appointments. Time limits may be enforced depending on demand.
