Opportunities to Serve

	Here are some of the ways the Hastings community can use your assistance:		Someday we will be able to do for someone what you have done for us We will dig much deeper into our pockets come food drive time again. Once you have been there, you don't forget
	Care Connection offers daily/weekly phone call support through Just Friends. Clothes Closet volunteers work as sales clerks in the retail store. Food Shelf volunteers sort and shelve donated food. Friends offer mentoring, support, and one-to-one relationship building by visiting lonely or homebound persons. Holiday volunteers transport, sort, and distribute food and gifts for the holidays, and answer phones in the office. Meals on Wheels drivers deliver nutritious, hot noon meals daily to the homebound and elderly. Transportation volunteers through Just Friends provide rides to medical and other necessary appointments. Just Friends volunteers do grocery shopping, light housekeeping, yard work, household chores, etc. Other: (Your ideas and talents are welcome) Donations of non-perishable food items, seasonal clothing in good condition, as well as books, bedding, and small household items, are gratefully accepted during business hours. Cash donations to support all programs are always welcome. I'd like to donate to Hastings Family Service. (Make checks payable to Hastings Family Service. You may designate donations to a particular program if you wish.) Your gift is tax deductible.
